Founded in 2009, East Coast Maine Coon Rescue (ECMCR) is a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization of dedicated volunteers who are committed to rescuing
Maine Coon and Maine Coon Mix cats on the East Coast and placing them
in loving, carefully screened homes.
We are able to save and rescue each Maine Coon and Maine Coon Mix cat
thanks to the generous support of individual donors. You can help us continue
our efforts by donating to ECMCR.
ECMCR is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all
donations go to the care of ECMCR cats.

We rely solely on the support of our dedicated volunteers to support
our cause. All of our Maine Coon and Maine Coon Mix cats are kept in foster
homes where they are provided with medical care and personal attention
while they wait for their permanent home. ECMCR is constantly in need
of compassionate volunteers to handle all the functions that are a part
